The Santa Barbara County district attorney has 35 years of experience as a prosecutor and 22 years as a district attorney, according to the biography of Sneddon on the office’s Web site. Sneddon presented evidence to a grand jury in a 1993 investigation of Jackson. That case ended with no charges being brought against the pop superstar. Sneddon has denied allegations that he is prosecuting Jackson to advance his career, and has said that he is serving his last term. |
